I'm glad (or afraid) to say you'll likely be in it for the long run. Being bold enough to make your way to Letty with the intent of being nice to her is quite the rare event for her. Whether it be lost humans that have been over conditioned to never trust her kind, Reimu's visits every now & then to tell her that these blizzards she enjoys are a burden for everyone else and that it'd be better if she fucked off as everyone celebrates Spring, or that pesky fairy that, while not armed with bad intentions, is sure to make a few remarks that can sting, calling Letty fat every so often, telling her that she should join her group of fairies, even though that's just not in the spirit of Letty to live such a carefree life.
Much to her surprise, Letty would end up meeting you, a human willing to listen, understand, and with a strange, but nonetheless heartwarming appreciation for her. Given the aforementioned circumstances and despite her maturity, you are almost certain to be met with a very loving embrace. It'll start quite tight, but never to the point of being uncomfortable. You would be able to feel all the bottled up affection waiting to be unveiled on a willing person, but what may come rushing to you first is the unique blend of femininity Letty is embracing you with. As a spirit of the harshest season, she embodies a certain bulkiness expected to handle such hard times, and yet through that coat lies many delightful bits - Her soft, delicate hands bring a sharp contrast to what one would expect of an autonomous woman likely used to earning her comfort, even if her idea of comfort may also involve the chills you sought to escape when first entering her home. Another proof of Letty's blooming womanhood lied in her pudgy features, expressing themselves in the most delightfully feminine ways out there - Welcoming thighs, adorable face without going into extremes, and a belly more than glad to express itself once the restraint of clothes was no more, although once again, it remained subtle enough as to only bother its owner if she had nothing else to think about. Her ample bosom along with a relative lack of prudishness has certainly made you at least consider playing along as if you had been a Whiterock, so to speak, and that thus, you had all the rights to claim her chest as your comfort zone, like a baby would with her mother.
You may not know because of how scarce these opportunities have been for her, but Letty can be a little bit of a tease, even if it isn't her one defining trait. Playing games with you is a lot of fun for her, so after a hour of lazying around together, cuddling throughout it all, she may suddenly take a deeper voice, blow some cold air on your ear, and start threatening you. Something along the lines of "You're looking quite tasty, you know? How about I make you into my little ice cream, hmmmm? You're mine and you're not leaving~"
She ultimately won't harm you. It'd be a waste to have acquired such a sweet snugglebug only to turn him into a sweet. However, she'd probably have a good laugh or feel alive if you were just a little scared of her. You may be able to see an avalanche coming, but will you be ready to escape it? These idioms leave you confused more than anything, but one's thing for sure - Letty's hugs are absolutely delectable
