I isolate all the parts that need to move like the hand, the chest of the swimsuit, the mouth, and so on. Then I go through frame by frame and try to make a series of outlines of how everything should change shape. Then I clean everything up, ad colors, run through the frames and fix any jittering, and other stuff until I get something that hopefully looks decent. Again, I'm surprised it came out looking that good. Normally I'd wind up with something much more stilted.
