ive been learning Japanese mostly through wanikani and learn hiragana/katakana. I delved slightly into tae kims grammar guide and can make simple sentences like, I am well and I love Japan. Im wondering what else I could do to make it feel like im really progressing. Im learning the vocab kanji slowly but I feel like I forget a great amount of it still. The problem is I dont feel like im progressing much as I still cant hold a conversation or complete longer sentences. What are some things you veterans used to get to fully speaking Japanese?

so can someone give me the run down of what this is? I get these are attractive women from Japan but do we just look up to them or is it something else. Also give me the starters guide to the top 5 idols and how I can follow them
