I know what you mean, I went through that too. In return for an exceptionally easy E4, I had to deal with the BB princess without both CLTs in tow (I didn't have Ooi, and only managed to get her earlier this event, over seven months into the game), and got her to single digits half a dozen times before dropping her. But I guess that's what makes Kancolle 'fun', getting trashed and returning to ask for more.

But yes, you're right, at least now we don't have to worry about gauge recovery and uncertainties regarding ship sinking mechanics. I'll be ready next week.

Why not? The Fall event was more fun than this one, I think, since there were a lot more war stories. Now that everyone (except me, it seems) can steamroll over the event, trauma stories aren't as common as they were before.
