And I'm not trying to be snarky when I say Kojima is doing what he wanted. He outright said and, if I'm not being a schizo right now, did so on several different occasions, that he's more interested in movie industry that games and such. And he's clearly having the time of his life taking selfies with Mikkelsen, posting photos of sadwiches he bought in supermart, etc. Dude is living his life, regardless of the quality of his work.
