Holy shit guys, the anime was a SoL with the occasional bit of fanservice for people who actually play the game. It was never going to be the WWII battle-opera it seems a lot of us here are treating it as.

Sure it wasn't a masterpiece, but its nevertheless a fun show featuring "moe boat girls doing moe boat girl things".
I'm not saying you shouldn't hate it, by all means keep being that vocal minority, but it sure is funny how people actually expected plot riddled, mind numbing drama from an anime about anthropomorphic ship girls.
