Why do the same images constantly get reposted around here?

I mean, I can understand doing it once or twice in case someone happened to be incapacitated at the time the image was around, but reposting an image you saved from /jp/ is poor form and should be frowned upon. I have many a time been disappointed to join a thread hoping for new portraits only to find the same bland pictures from the last thread. This type of redundancy may be acceptable for /a/ and /v/, but we should elevate ourselves to a higher level.

Please refrain from engaging in such unfavorable actions in the future. We may not be able to eliminate all repeat posting, but by simply not posting an image you saved from /jp/ on /jp/, you will surely bring it to a minimum.
