Patchouli has the most knowledge and experience. She was born a magician and has been in the magic game longer than the other two. I doubt magicians last long without a good sense of wisdom to temper their curiosity. Thanks to her ties with the SDM, she has access to far more resources than the other two. However her physical ailments greatly limit her power.
Alice may have the most raw magic power in the long run, if her Grimoire and relation to Shinki are still canon. But she is also freshly-turned. Alice is undoubtedly the most dexterous of the three given her talent for puppeteering and likely has the best kinesthetic sense to go with it.
Marisa is the most willing and eager which she needs as a human. She may be the most observant of the three, given her inclination to copy moves from others. Unfortunately her haste and greed are also why she is the most likely to cast something dangerous or short-sighted.
>Who would you like to teach you about magic?
Patchouli would not be eager for a student because it would cut into her own personal study time and put another person regularly in her space. She might not mind taking you on as an assitant but learning would be mostly through observation and personal study. That said, learning under her would be a very scientific and by-the-book approach.
I'm not sure how Alice would go about it. Teaching someone is a bigger commitment than sheltering someone who is lost for a night. Her magic is likely hard for someone without her dexterity to replicate. She would still be aware of how it felt to be human.
Marisa would probably make for a poor teacher but is the most amiable of the three.

Patchouli is a hopeless academic married to her study. Housework is tended to by the SDM's maids. Living at the SDM would be an adventure of its own.
Marrying Marisa would mean she would either have to retire from magic or be a neglectful wife/mother because she wouldn't be able to keep up her practice with her new responsibilities.
Alice would probably be best. She's accustomed to living on her own and keeping tidy even with her massive doll collection. She doesn't have the shortness of life of a human so she can study magic at her own pace.
