Satoko/Keiichi basically assume she reverted back to her bratty younger sister self by the end of Sotsu and nothing in the middle counted. The Sotsu ending was ambiguous enough they could see it like that. Or just outright ignore Gou/Sotsu's plot even if they like the new designs.

Rika/Satoko has the whole appeal of someone who knows everything about Rika's looping side mixed with Rika's old Satoko obsession. It's different from Takano since Rika was completely incidental to that, while Rika is Satoko's actual goal here. Rika dying was necessary for Takano's plan, but Rika herself had nothing to do with Takano's goal.

Read the Minagoroshi VN. Watching Satoko do stuff is how Rika spends most of her free time.

Although it was a plot point in Gou that Rika was obsessed with Satoko too when she started looping (her refusals or annoyance at letting her go) they did a very bad job showing it outside of that specific context.
