I doubt anyone's interested, but the current idea is that the story takes place in an isolated boarding school and the main character is your average MC who's seen as a delinquent by others when he's really just depressed and unmotivated. There he meets an endlessly optimistic girl who declares that she'll never let anyone suffer alone because she believes that people who were unhappy when they were young end up growing up to be bad-natured adults and in her point of view, all evil in the world is caused by adults. Together, they constantly clash in their beliefs, meet new friends and figure out the mystery (still not decided what it's gonna be) behind the school. Kinda like Higurashi meets Higanbana meets Umineko meets Corpse Party meets Harry Potter meets Danganronpa. [/spoiler]

Hm...Okay, I understand. I haven't written seriously in years; the only stories I have are a couple really cheesy ones about gingerbread cookies from third grade or something. I'll try and do something shorter and then maybe move onto bigger projects, Hinamizawa Bus Stop is pretty short, right? But it eventually evolved into Higurashi, so that means anything is salvageable if you really put your heart into it. I'll do it, I swear to god, I'll make something and even if it's shit I'll try and take a lesson from it.
>Part of the reason Higurashi got popular is that the free demo discs he was giving away got hacked, unlocking the full version of the first 4 episodes.
I never knew this, jeez. Poor guy must've felt awful.
