I don't think he'll bring her back, because she WAS a villain of the week. The problem with Erika is that you know she's just Bern's tool so you don't really have much emotional investment in seeing her get skewered or whatever when Bern is just sitting around with a trollface on the entire time.

Massive spoiler: Battler and Beato shoot her in a flintlock pistol duel (that is actually a logic duel, naturally). If you hit "execute" on her character profile in the TIPS section after you finish the ????, she just disappears completely from the info screen instead of being shown dead.
