I don't have a screenshot or any actual proof, but I'm 99% certain they already said it in the third VN. At the very least, when they brought it up in the fourth episode, I wasn't surprised.
One part I did find kinda weird is the reveal that Ikki and Tatsuya knew all along Brad was responsible. That probably should've been mentioned at least once near the start of the VN. It kind comes out of nowhere that this entire thing was a master plan to kill two guys, and one of them is a major antagonist since episode 1 and the other is a guy who was kinda in the background of one CG and they say 'remember that guy? He was important'.
