1: they keep everything as they evolve. If they gain the float bitflag or any abilities they keep it.

2. Why not both? Cheer is amazing though, especially if you're riding.

3: Exile is great becuase of multicast netherbolt, but eventually magic res gets too high for magic pets to do much without you debuffing first.

4. Defender, Murder Knight, Valkyrie, Miss Vampire, Yerles Cyber Soldier and Pascal right now. I have more in storage but this is fine for me. First two are tanks (with the defender aoe healing from holy rance procs), second two buff/debuff, cyber soldier does some great sniping and I ride pascal.
