You need special eq (like AA gun, AA Fire Director (new item) and air radar, more in image or wiki) and the cut-in has a quite high chance to proc during air phase. When AACI procs you're almost sure to be safe from air strike, even vs takoyaki. Unfortunately only Ooyodo and Katori can maintain both AACI and daytime double attack, so it's best to use AACI on DDs or Maya K2 (heavy cruisers can only combine AACI with shitty daytime cut-in, so it only makes sense on Maya).
First three setups are only for Akizuki who will probably be added to LSC some months in the future.
