It's hard to say what she should do, though.
Intuitively, I would suggest her to acknowledge herself to be more than just her job. However, in her case, she kind of really IS her job, so I'm not sure.
I mean, it's good to be in control of things. However, it's great to have someone who you can hand over that control to, someone who you trust to the utmost, and who would never do you wrong with that power. At her current state, I don't think she can do that.
To get back on track, I'd probably take her to some seasonal faire in the human village.
She'll get some fresh air and be among people, it's not too taxing, and she can leave whenever she wants.
