I spent last week continuing to implement saving/loading. It doesn't save/load everything, but the geometry (houses, etc) outside of a few interactable things (computers and such) save/load. NPCs do, but their AI (behavior part, not stored stats) gets reset. I'm sure there's a bunch of tiny things I'm forgetting to save/load though, which will surely surface later in subtle bugs that will be hard to track down...
