Today is Mother's Day where I live. My dad got me a card and some perfume to give to my mum, but she's super upset because I didn't wake up in the morning to give them to her (I gave her them in the afternoon). After she left for work all moody, my dad gave me a lecture about how I should have put the effort in and woken up at 9 a.m. or something instead of 3 p.m.

Is Mother's Day a big deal? I always assumed it was one of those non-holidays.
