>When did you start?
Years ago with Anki, but I was unfocused and busy with school so shelved learning for a bit. Started up again about 6 months ago and have stuck with it since then.

>What level are you at now?
Did Lingodeer for a few months which was useful for understanding sentence structure, but I've since replaced that with Anki and Japanese the Manga way about a month ago. I can usually get a very basic idea of what's happening on Japanese news television and have just started trying to read children's manga. With that it's mostly a vocabulary issue than grammatical one luckily.

>How far do you think you'll be by the end of this year?
Able to read manga and nhk easy articles. Able to follow Japanese television through actual listening and be less reliant on labels on the screen.

Continue with 6k, maybe reduce new to 10. Either way it'll be little more than a side activity now if that.

Find Japanese TV streams. Watch it when you get bored. You didn't have to wait so long to do grammar, but Japanese the Manga Way is a good book to go through.

Godspeed.
