Exactly, but that's the point! Her real characterization, rather than cold and gloomy or stuttering tsundere, is the nonchalant idiosyncratic recluse who get nasty rumors about her, but ignores them, "doesn't give a fuck", and continues to indulge in her own private hobbies, alone forever. She doesn't care others think of her place as the "horror house" and of her as a freak, she's just fine playing with her dolls and pretending they are her family with confidence. She's like what true /jp/ should aspire to be.

It's pretty admirable.
