Hot tips and Troubleshooting:
If you're using the 4chan External Sounds script, and things are TOO loud when you click images, but you DON'T want to adjust your browser volume, edit the script, Ctrl+f "player.volume" and lower that from 0.80 (80% of browser volume) to 0.50 or something.

If you're using the 4chan Sounds Player (the playlist one), it can read multiple sounds in a single filename. Just add as many [sound=url] to the filename as you want. You can add a name before each one, just before the first, or none at all.
The inline player will fall back to playing the last one so keep that in mind.

I can't hear sounds?

If you're STILL running into issues when you're sure you've got the scripts mounted, and aren't blocked by any of your other plugins, look into your browser settings and do this for both catbox and pomf

Pomf uploads aren't as reliable for soundposts as catbox because either ISPs, Browsers, or even some AVs block pomf because that one time it hosted a single malware .exe

You can try this on pomf.cat, it makes it work for some people.

You could also try greasemonkey or tapermonkey to mount the scripts.
Once you have the script mounter, and a script installed, you should be good to go.

If you're still having problems, like chrome saying it blocked a pop up or something, do pic related on 4chan, catbox.moe, and pomf.cat

Also, try pic related on both 4chan, catbox, pomf, and zz.ht to make sure they're not blocked by the browser itself. 90% people don't need to do it, but I had to after sounds stopped working a for me a few months after install.

How to sounds, a three step process:
>Have a script extension in your browser: Violetmonkey (recommended), Greasemonkey, Tapermonkey, etc
>Install 4chanX (optional, but recommended)
>Install a sound script of your choice:

This is the simple, click image, get sound, pluggin. It makes sounds when you expand images. Syncs audio to otherwise silent webms too.

>4chan Sounds (Playlist)
This is one that was made by an /a/non- it throws all the sound media in a separate, floatable media player that doesn't interact with the thread. It comes with plenty of options and is the overall, superior way to listen to soundposts that is still getting updates.

You can use one, the other, or both. They don't interact/affect each other in any way.
