So /jp/, I just finished watching the second KnK movie.
And what the shit. Don't go memific for a moment now Anon, but, was the director for this part trying to turn the series into Tsukihime anime 2.0?
I mean, what the shit. First adaptation was good. Didn't leave anything important out, added haagen dazs eating/extended fight scene.
Second part? Way to leave twenty fucking critical lines out, as well as important explanations (example: SHIKI is never mentioned to be the male personality, but he is referred to as SHIKI-kun in the Garan-no-dou adaptation (from what you can see in the trailer, anyway); unless the viewer has read the novels, it'll be confusing as fuck.)
Also, why lengthen the swordfight scene? Why have Daisuke call the fifth murder a manji if Ryougi never says that it was probably arranged to look like a flower?
Since we are at it, anyone else found it hilarious that they spent so much time doing part 7 foreshadowing, but left out the most fucking crucial statement? (Meaning the first words of the chapter: "1995, April. I met her."; it didn't even need a voiceover, just the text at the start of the movie.)

Fuck, this pisses me off. Thankfully they added a sexy Jouji/Araya monologue at the end to soften the blow.

Oh well, there's a different director for each part, so we probably won't have to put up with this bullshit on the next chapters. Here's hoping that the quality of the adaptations reaches Chapter 1 level on the next movie. Talking about that, Fujino~n's next.
