Cheers, I just beat the game normally.

...while using the yellow rocket launcher instead of the green one. I ended up hitting each form of Remilia 6 times, and Flandre's copies took 3 hits each.

Then I promptly beat the game again with the green one and beat it trivially. I feel dumb, also I have no idea what the ending text says.
