I find I can usually beat Touhou games on normal mode if I use continues. Without continues, it becomes difficult for me. I never could complete any of the fighting games without continues even on easy mode because I suck at fighting games. Oddly enough, my favorite 2hu is from the fighting games.

It's place of no return - once you arrive you won't want to leave. Many people tell stories of Omsk underground metro system, Omsk red bird and these trains that take you away to Omsk. Some of them are effect of imagination of school-boys shitposting on ru chan or writing copy-pastas and some truthfully describe reality. It's unknown to the end, because once you know it you lose contact with rest of world. The same is with Gensokyo. Maybe that's why Winged Omsk came and time started to be so slow.... Reality in room started to look misshaped and strange. Time ceased to exist. Even working in background big fan that was cooling room started to move blankly without real effect. Is Omsk bird related to the portal that Magician Expert was looking for? This moment of fast thoughts that weren't fitting to slow and odd atmosphere was broken by bird suddenly turning back and disappearing. There were no word spoken. No gestures. No movements in this so short but long moment. Everything was back to normal. Was it dream? Thought process was even faster. No. -"It was sign from Gensokyo that I should hurry up." This was really refreshing thought breaking whole mood. Even if there are shitposters that are rude to you in honest threads giving up won't help. Not this way strongest touhous were strongest.... Even Cirno had to do hard training to become most idiot. Not to mention awesome cool Gensokyo citizens with high power levels.

Can't believe no one suggested it yet, best way I've found to get through her spam (pretty much anyone's spam actually) is with Suika. She has this one alt move (Unpleasant Mist, 214BC) where she turns into vapor and simply can waft through whatever projectiles are on screen for as long as it lasts (depends on how many times you pull the card), and as a floating puff you can aim yourself wherever you want while being invincible.

Depending on the version you use (B or C), you can either do a quick get-away but have a lag when coming out, or have a slight lag going into mist but be able to hit basically as soon as you come out (that's the one I always use, then again I use it offensively to float through projectiles and then pop out near/on top of the enemy). It takes some practice getting used to it (and luck pulling the card) but once you get the hang of it it's way better than normally grazing through a bunch of projectiles .. it can save energy + you're fucking invulnerable, plus as a puff if you do lots of small movements before you come out there will be some smoke covering up your immediate trail, and it can be very hard for the opponent to know exactly where/when you're coming out. Don't be predictable with the mist otherwise you'll get punished bad once the other guy figures out your routine.. but there's a lot of options with it so it shouldn't be hard to shake it up. Best thing imo is to bait them into attacking you as a puff (like fly above them or at them suddenly), but then pop out right after they swing and punish them, works well for most opponents.

Reisen also has an alt skill that will -ABSOLUTELY- fuck up Yuyuko, from maximum range at that.
