what are you asking from those kids? They are influenced with japanese weaboism failing to realize that such media as VNs and LNs became popular in japan not because of their quality, but because half japanese have troubles reading their own language and thus revert for the easier and simpler ways of reading - VNs, Manga, cellphone novels, LNs - where language, discruptions are extremely simplified and story and characters are ripped of whatever depth, streamlined and just given specific traits making them able to identify them, while the story randomly develops by adding as many as possible random dark, shocking and emotional twists without any regard for the consistency or logic of the story at all.

Most VNs are in essense nothing else as Brazzilian soup operas for housewises - a generic media using generic elements to please their dumb audience and would eat this shit and ask for more.
