I don't think there are any explicitly Confucian Touhou characters, but I know the philosophy/religion is present in Touhou. The first example that comes to mind is this quote from 12.3 which reads:
"With passion you forget to eat, with joy you forget your worries.
Maybe the lifestyle that Confucius strived for was one like yours."
This is the quote you can get when beating Cirno with Tenshi in Hisoutensoku.

im curious as to what tenshi's actual sprites would have looked like if there was the intended scrolling cloud pattern ZUN designed

ignored the taxes deadline this month because I was too busy replaying touhou games/ watching touhou MMD's, did anyone else do this as well?

It's not a tiara. It's a headband. This is something 5hat artists have interpreted as a pin for years. A similar thing occurs with Tenshi's hair. Her hair is actually a gradient from dark blue to a slightly lighter blue but artists almost always draw it as solid blue. She's also supposed to have clothes made out of the sky and blue eyes.
-Alphes got the hair gradient but made her eyes red and her clothes solid blue
-Moe got the sky clothes but continued to make her eyes red and hair solid blue
-Aya gets everything wrong with red eyes, solid hair, and solid clothes

Tenshi is actually supposed to have gradient hair but only Alphes got that right. ZUN draws characters how they're supposed to look (DUH he created them) and I'm glad another person in this hellhole recognizes that simple fact.
