Why don't more programming/music /jp/sies post in these threads?
Seems to be mostly artists

Is drawing more accessible or something?

I'll tell you a secret.
There's hundreds of people here who had the same idea and learned how to program and didn't code shit, at least nothing that worth to be remembered.

Seeing how impetuous I can guess how will it end 99% sure.

Now is where your path can diverge, do you want to learn how to code and maybe learn how to use a framework tooor do you want your game idea done? If you want the knowledge go read your prog books and become another of these people who know how to do "do nothing." You may be the outliner, who knows, maybe I'm wrong but statistics says I'm not.

Option B: You want a game that others can play, then go write down your idea properly if you have it, or get one, organize your shit, write down gameplay, how should it look, feel, sound and visit places where people who took the first path, /jp/ as example, gather, comment your game, music, feeling, looking. If you're able to get some conceptual art much better because people will see you're serious, and honestly, some will show interest ( If none does is because your idea is shit and you should learn from your errors and get other, if think that knowing that your idea is shit at first hand is not a victory you're fucking stupid ).
And now the true hard work begins, harder than coding, harder than composing, harder than drawing.

Scheduling and organizing while keeping everyone as happy as possible working in your game and maintaining cordiality.

It's still a low chance but infinitely better than hoping to have a great idea and jumping into it code, music, art 100% done by yourself.

Here you fucking go, you've learned more of making videogames in 10 lines than with a OpenGL superbible.
