>Pekora has a crisis because she's making far more money than she needs or even thinks she deserves, wants more equity between her and her fans but doesn't know how to deliver, and that conflicts with Cover's interests as a business
>nijiniggers try to spin it as she's attacking Cover for being a black company
I'm always surprised when I see there are people that have even less of a life than myself.

How can I not fall in love with someone I'm already in love with? I appreciate and admire Miko too much as an artist not to want to marry her, even if her roommate were ugly, which she isn't.

>doesn't stream for 3 months
>is the MVP for the year
As spiritually significant as Miko is to Hololive, I'd say MVP probably moreso goes to Korone or Pekora for holding down the fort with consistent, high-quality content during her absence. I'm not sure what kind of Hololive Miko would even have been able to come back to if not for them maintaining the name and standard even during those hard times.

Unless your holo get to perform 6 songs, she doesn't matter.

You're probably overthinking it. There's a certain amount of sentimentality within Miko's fandom because of how much she struggled until recently, but these days she's one of the most popular holos with plenty of casual fans. Miko telling her fans to break up was just a skit that got a lot of attention because of how rarely she does girlfriend-ish stuff.

This demonstrates that Pekora's story-based streaming style is more effective than elaborate, large-scale collabs. Miko and Mio spent a fuckton of hours building the sports festival and got almost every holo to participate for 6 hours, funneled it all into 5 perspectives, yet only she got 1m views while Pekora and the rest got only a slightly higher than usual viewcount, and it didn't seem to make any major impact on Hololive's popularity as a whole. The reason it was just "a thing that happened" is because there weren't any major plots that went into it, and there weren't any major plots coming out, the scale was big but it simply didn't matter to Hololive's story as a whole. In other words, Sports Festival is a filler arc.

Meanwhile all Pekora did was a light character arc during non-collab minecraft gameplay with Moona, generated some controversy via Kiara collab, and then capitalized on it with a 1m collab and a massive viewcount for her collab partner, basically zero off-camera work or non-perspective holos involved. This shows that storytelling matters a lot more than anything else. Shubangelion was also hinting at this because despite being the ugliest mech, being built by the least-inclining builder, it had the most memorable story to it and thus got the biggest recognition. PekoMoona is viewed as a potential lasting change in Pekora's character, hence it gets so much attention.

In a nutshell, PekoMoona 1m over Sports Festival 1m is a telling albeit incidental indicator that narratives/story arcs and character development are the driving force in Pekora's, and arguably Hololive's, current incline. PekoMoona may well be a hotter topic than PekoMiko for some time because as people have already been frequently saying in these threads, PekoMoona is new while PekoMiko is established status quo.

But please remember to take your meds if you start correlating a pairing's popularity to the actual depth of two chuubas' relationship.
