Mostly the same except I was using Nitori and Satori in place of Reimu and Marisa there.

Nitori's high ACC was useful against the tengus, but so is magic. Keep in mind her attack techniques are quite strong and wide hitting and don't use bombs, she might run out of MP though. consider her switchable with Marisa really.

Satori didn't do much besides cast shining stars and plasma ball, but the plasma ball really helped against the tengus. Oh and acid storm when fighting those fire based enemies later on.

I also remember using Byakuren a bit who was specced for induction. I had her cast makai butterfly a lot. If you build her for IND that charms the enemies quite frequently. It's quite useful in the since it takes enemies out of the fight for as long as they're charmed. Also magical attacks don't uncharm enemies when they hit them most of the time.

Alice's little legion skill is invaluable here. Tornado? Bamf, 0,0,0,0,0 damage on Alice and she already took her turn so nobody's dazed. Any physical attack? Alice's defense is so fucking high it laughs. I also gave her an upgraded death protection accessory. Also you can just use spectrum mystery if it's a very obvious fire based enemy party.

My strategy was simply to thin out the enemy enough in the first turrn while Alice was little legioning or spectrum mysterying. Also this was her equipment, I was using aluminium mail and a ruby shield before the mana shield dropped off a rafflesia and I found the youkai mail in a chest.

Also don't be afraid to run back to the start to save your found treasures or to run past and away from enemies. Juking skills are invaluable in this game.
