I'd like to make Aya smart (all the scheming with Momiji) but I made her too fucking stupid in previous posts. Being secretive, selling half-truths when she doesn't have to tell the whole truth, making long term plans, thinking deeply about connections, etc. All of this would fit well enough into the HSE narrative but I fucked up with the tea switcheroo joke and it all went downhill. Now making her serious might have too much whiplash from all the slapstick and levity.
I blame the incense and pregnancy hormones not really. Just trust the funny terrorism plan and lesbian rape blackmail. She's got something up her sleeve.
Thanks for the honest feedback. I've had the same feeling that HSE!Aya isn't as cunning as she could/should be. It'll take a while, but I hope the payoffs will be good enough to recompense all the humiliation and vauge setups so far.
