Considering how he's okay with widening Nagatos #2 and #3 barbattes to accommodate a larger turret, or somehow converting early war nip carriers into armored carriers. We really could end up with anything for Iowa Mk 2.

And on the same topic they should have abandoned the biggu seben bullshit and made Nagato K2 an FBB refit. Maybe even squeeze in some 18-inch guns in there somewhere.
Or since they were the largest pre-war BBs you might even be able to do a full CV conversion.
