I've heard that the Touhou games work pretty well under Linux, using wine. I tried running both Imperishable Night and Perfect Cherry Blossom, both with the same issue.

The menu acts as though the up arrow is being held, though it it not. The result is endlessly looping through the menu options, like when you turn on a game console while holding down a control. Anyone experience this or have an idea for how I would go about troubleshooting? I don't use wine much.
