I made a bunch of these finger-things.
They work pretty well; you just put it on your finger and grope around inside the ona to dry.

Can't remember where I saw the original tutorial so here's a mspaint one instead.
Learning a basic stitch + tying off the knot at the end shouldn't take more than 10 minutes of following along on youtube.
