Happy that you liked it!

>In SSiB, she took care of an injured moon rabbit despite not being obligated to, though she may have taken something from her, I can't remember too well.
Reimu stole her lunar veil, only recognizing it as "a shiny robe". Once the moon rabbit woke up, Reimu even went as far as saying "I'm not giving it back" straight to her face, which was kind of a dick move, really. Reimu used to have mean moments like this in the past. However, since the lunar veil was absolutely crucial to the moon rabbit (she wouldn't be able to go back home without it), and Reimu underestimated her power (it had disguised itself as an earth youkai rabbit), it simply dashed up and swiped it out of her hands, taking it back.

Reimu did indeed take care of the injured rabbit fully assuming that it was a youkai, and even had to stay awake all night since she lent her only bed to it. Just walking past any injured being seems to be below her. Reimu has a complicated relationship to youkai, though. In the past (around the time of SSiB), she was more of the opinion that youkai are sub-human monsters that should be exterminated upon sight, and robbing them of their valuables was no biggie. Therefore, she probably took the veil from the moon rabbit as "ransom" for nursing her.

In recent years, Reimu's "extermination upon sight" doctrine regarding youkai has slowly become more of a facade. She is still keeping them at an arm's length, but as long as they don't cause too much trouble, she leaves them alone. Some are also great fun at drinking parties!

>Notice how sometimes when she's sweeping leaves alone she hums and sings? She loves it. Routine and balance define her.
"Love" is perhaps a bit strong of a word for the sweeping itself. Many people hum along when they carry out mundane tasks (myself included) to stay in good spirits, or because their minds wander to something more pleasant. Reimu certainly doesn't mind delegating these tasks to others (I think we saw that in one of the Fairies' manga), but it's not like it's killing her to do them herself either. I DO agree that she loves routine and balance in her life in general, though.

I agree with most of what you wrote, nice post. Perhaps I wouldn't describe some of Reimu's traits with words that strong. Her reactions to Kosuzu being in danger is probably how most humans capable of basic empathy would react, if they found out that the life of a child/teenager that they know is threatened, and they could do something about it. Being deeply concerned over her well-being would mean spending a lot of time and effort on checking up on her, even when there is no danger, which she isn't doing (and would be rather out-of-character for Reimu). She seems more deeply concerned over the trouble Kosuzu is causing for the village with her youma books. The balance between youkai and humans is, after all, what she deeply cares about.

Finally, pic related is happy Reimu thinking about things she loves. She's also wearing some kind of undershirt here, a rare sight. Post more happy Reimus!
