Watching the Maikaze Summer Dream again out of boredom reminds me of the biggest disappointment I had for the best attempt at a Touhou anime to date.

It's the anime clichés themselves. Instead of even attempting to get a approximation of the characters personalities, it seems more like they are each given a stereotype personality as though going down a tick list. They aren't even placed appropriately with Marisa becoming the straight man for the others.

But worse of all, it takes some of the most assertive characters and makes them kind of meek.

Perhaps I should be thankful, it made me realise I liked the aggressive nature of most the characters. Even the ones who aren't as sure of themselves are capable of it with the right motivation. It's a change from the moe blobs we're supposed to cuddle and protect.

In theory, you are able to reach the Moon from Gensoukyo, correct? If you were actually able to reach it using the lulzmagic rocket, you could also be able to land on Earth if taken the proper procedures.

This being so, you would be able to reach Gensoukyo by landing in the moon from the Earth, and then arrive to Gensoukyo.
