Sometimes, I see threads which have ~100 replies, all originating from a single posted image without any text at all. An image posted without any effort whatsoever, which garnered all those replies.

It makes me feel dejected, and deeply unsatisfied inside, to see all my text wasted for no purpose, more mental energy expended on the frivolous things in life.

"Should I even try?" I think to myself. "These posts are of no value at all, and I shall not reduce myself to their level". I will not succumb to the temptation to rouse a meaningless rabble, no matter how much I may desire it the results of the action.
