Silence held us for a moment. It was lovely. But of course, lovely things don't last long.

"Mr. Customer," she said, her face falling into a delicate frown. "It is so cloudy tonight...I don't think the stars can be seen from out here. If you would like, we could go inside, and I can show you the stars on the the proje-"

"No," I said. "I like it out here." I looked at my watch, then smiled at her. "Reverie, it's about to start, so just wait a little longer, alright?"

"Mr. Customer..." She tilted her head to the side in her usual confused way. After a moment, she said just what I expected her to say. "I have searched my databases, but I could not come up with any information as to what you might be referring to-"
