So for compiling you probably want to try getting it working before you edit anything by following the steps listed on the github. Once you have it compiling, search around in db_class for the class you want. I would recommend choosing your class based on the feat you want since that is harder to change. If you say want to modify the archer class, look for " dbidn == "archer" " and the following section with a bunch of "skillinit" calls. You'll want to replace the stuff like "SKILL_WEAPON_ANATOMY" or whatever with the skills you want and adjust the bonus numbers at the end. You can find the list of skills in mod.hsp starting with "SKILL_NORMAL_LITERACY". Don't replace the "SKILL_ATTR_" stuff though, just rebalance the numbers for them.

Skills and attributes have a potential value which determines how fast they grow when you do something that raises them. Spend platinum coins at a trainer to raise skill potentials. Raise attribute potentials by sleeping in the best bed you can find and drinking potions of potential. Skills grow when you use that skill, which in turn raises attribute. Eating herbs and non-shitty food also raises your attributes. Give your pets gems or have them step on money and they will raise their own potentials later.
