The message of Umineko is to never trust witches. They will kill you and your family for their amusement and after they are done playing with the corpses they will begin to destroy your mind as well. Forcing you to witness from a warped and unreliable perspective different variations of the same atrocity over and over again, they put you through the trouble to suspect your loved ones to find who's "guilty". By transforming technicalities and insincerity as objective truths and conveniently never having to present evidence, they place the bargain of truth on yourself. There is no solution to their riddles. They want you to believe there is one, to give you a false hope of salvation. Until your sanity fails you and they turn you intro their mindless slave.
