Y'know what? Fuck it, I've still got some steam in me. Three factions worth in fact.
In contrast to the the Enclave, the Sisterhood of Steel was forged from the descendants of Pre-War military and various independent Knight families, and follows a different philosophy. Rather than preserving the purity of the human race, the Sisterhood is obsessed with finding and preserving the technology and knowledge of the old world. The Sisterhood believes that if they amass enough, they will be able to lead a conquering army across the wastes and rebuild society by force. Heavily isolationist, every member of a specific Sisterhood outpost is considered family, and when it comes time to populate a new outpost, members from several different outposts are sent to prevent inbreeding. Unlike the Enclave, men are allowed to serve combat roles, and monstergirls are allowed to be members, though the Sisterhood holds a particular hatred of Super Mutants and Wasteland Ghouls.
>Author's note: It should be noted that not all outposts behave this way. An outpost stationed in the Capital Wasteland is much more open to outsiders, and is more dedicated to protecting the Capital Wasteland rather than hoarding technology. They're also willing to recruit new members from outside.
