because i cringe when people sing for no reason, to me it seems like su is grimacing at moa in this video. it's normal to assume that somebody acting similarly to you in a familiar situation means they are doing so for the same reason you would have, but if there is some specific reason why you have reacted that way, then it's probably just projection.

i cringe when people randomly sing because i am a bad singer, and i would feel embarrassed if i was singing. that's obviously not an issue su has, so can i be so sure that she would cringe because of somebody else singing? is she maybe just putting on a fake smile because the producer told her to smile?

be honest with yourself and look at the reason(s) why you laughed at the slow kid, and if it's reasonable to assume that su had a similar experience, then you haven't been projecting, you've been speaking from experience.

She really was, even in their first years while Amuse was -trying- to focus on the elder members about to graduate, Su was the only who could really carry a tune and had the most time in vocals, and for the album of the year of her graduation she basically got two solo songs.

The being said, if she had not gone through the training camp that is Sakura Gakuin and subsequently the phenomenon that is Babymetal, I think that maybe she would have lived in her sister's shadow and never really reach the fame that she has now. Either waste her talents being a regular idol or play for a few dozen people at indie cafés or whatever.
