You're taking this too seriously, dude.

You're not forced to use them at all, and as much as I dislike over "casual" people as much as the next guy, we can't expect everyone to play the game with the ultimate goal of becoming very good at dodging.

Since who wants to play it the harsh way can just not bomb, why not make them available? I think that's the point. It's not like bombs make the game an absolute piece of cake except for MoF.

What difficulty is this?

Utsuho is the easiest stage 6 boss in the series. Nothing Utsuho has should be too bad if you practice. Find a replay on the archive and practice it. Otherwise, use a bomb.

>I seriously can't manage Stage 3 in MoF (lunatic).
<-- This picture is for you.

>I waaaaaaaaaaant to beliiiiiiiiiiieve.
Better... how? You can be just as good as me if you practice. Also, would you rather have someone who can't talk from experience? Believe me, there are people who are much better than me around.

>not really though
Whatever.

>Okay, narrow it down to about 50 little objects that are close to or heading towards your character.
That's called "playing the game". It's called bullet-hell for a reason. I'm pretty sure that more often that not, you will die to running into bullets, as opposed to anything else.

<--- Picture very related.

If you find yourself bombing too much, just practice.

Stage 1 & 2 were great. You could have done your timings just a little bit better but it's no big deal, especially on normal mode. You could have collected more in the stage portions of stage 3. You probably don't want to get into too much risk but doing some practice and finding a good route can make the game much easier. It will also help you a lot in hard/lunatic mode if you ever play it. You can do some practice on hard mode to make you better. Those last three bombs and especially the last one were a little off. It wasn't the worst thing that could happen but you did the whole boss a little awkwardly. A little practice can't hurt. You should also collect more. That first deathbomb on stage 4 was unnatural. You can fix that by being well rested and relaxed. I think that Reimu is a much harder stage 4 boss that Marisa so I feel your pain here. Instead of explaining every little mistake you made, I'm going to tell you to practice. Remember that amulets have very tiny hitboxes. It's safe to take your focus off them and onto other bullets. Reimu's last two cards can be tough. If you want, you can plan-bomb here. Those first two deaths on stage 5 were avoidable. Tewi requires some precise dodging. It isn't a bad idea to bomb if you have to. Overall, you really need to practice the stage portion of stage 5. Reisen is the most gimmicky stage 5 boss ever. She's right by Sanae in terms of difficulty. Just watch a few replays and you will have her in the bank. If not, bomb. Stages 5/6 are something that you rarely do correctly. You have to rely on the resources you acquired in the early stages to beat them.

This image is something I made to look at while playing Lunatic MoF. I was obsessing over being perfect and trying to capture everything. It completely blocked me from getting that 1cc. The time to perfect your runs comes after the first bare 1cc.

Also, practice. It's just normal mode. You will get the run very soon.
