I've been thinking on this for a while, and I need some input. What is the appeal of alps other than the fact that you self insert as one? I always assumed it was made for people who wanted to be mamono. Because if this isn't the case, then why not just a normal succubus. Sure, liking an alp isn't gay but preferring one over a succubus or similar mamono comes off as pretty fucking gay. So what appeal would alps even have other than the self insert gender bender aspect?
