Most of the shitposters and crabs came from the regular OC thread. When those two ran in parallel, the OC thread was the one with constant fighting and shitposting and this place here was a comfy exchange of art. Once the OC thread collapsed, everyone migrated here and brought their dirty luggage with them. It's awful really. Art as a discipline is extreme when it comes to elitism, competitiveness, bitterness, /ic/ can attest to that. It's like inherent to it. This thread was created with the explicit purpose of letting creatively inspired but unskilled laymen share some nice things without any harsh judgment, without being intimidated or mocked by people who are actually good. Now that they're all here the original point of these threads went away. I am very insecure so having a nice thread to post some scribbles in was nice, and now I don't want to post here anymore.
