idk i liked time warp and man vs wild more. besides i don't think anything can melt fumes.
there are 2 things to be distinguished between though, heat and flash (sources which would start a chain reaction eg flames or spark) and 2 attributes of a substance used as fuel, flash point (minimum temp of a fuel after which it can be ignited from a flash source) and self ignition temp
a lit cigarette is a heat source, the self ignition temperature of petrol is too high for it to be combusted by a cigarette. but, if you wanted to light that cigarette you need a flame which could start a fire. unlikely. but even more unlikely is to just have a perfect mixture within the flammability limits floating in the air. it's all just to be safe.
