I can't speak for all of them, but the Atelier Official Chronicle at least also includes descriptions of each game, their alchemy systems, and also some artist comments. There are also several interviews. The one with Kishida Mel, and the one with the Sound Team were both particularly interesting.

It's not particularly worth the price tag if you don't want it for the art, but it is actually quite a nice reference if you want to be a more in-depth fan of the series.
