One can never be too late to love Jurina. I was into anime Jpop back in 2007-8 and vaguely knew of AKB, then got into K-pop. Through Twice’s JP promos + MAMA + continued exposure from some sites I decided to get more into 48G and was immediately struck by Jurina’s visuals. I know she’s not the traditional cuter style preferred in JP/KR but to me she’s easily one of the most beautiful idols I’ve ever seen and I really like her personality

I’ve been a huge weeb for the last 15 years, it’s nigh impossible to be a fan of Japanese culture for that long and NOT know the AKB franchise or heard Heavy Rotation/Fortune Cookie etc at least a few times. However I didn’t really know any names besides Acchan/Kojiharu/Sasshi

S48 was naturally the first place I went to start off from Jurina’s page. Like I said before a lot of English sites are pretty dead though. I figured if any English community for Japan shit was still alive and kicking it would be here on 4chan (I’ve been a regular on other boards for years anyway)
