Is it just me, or are Suwakos blockstrings and bnb combos a bit of a bitch to pull off?

Most of the ones I'm trying demand instantly airdashing right after the 3rd or 4th hit on her j5a. Which is fine the first time, but I rarely seem to have enough air to do it a second or third time.

tl;dr: I am bad at video games, help me stop.
