This is literally just what learning a completely new language is like, the difference is that you probably learned English before you even formed memories. Other fun fact, as a literal <1 year old infant your brain starts filtering sounds that aren't from your native language which is why tones seem like a meme to English speakers and why the Japanese don't understand the English 'r'/'l' distinction
The point is, it's just gonna be hard, man. Your brain is quite literally wired for a different language and you gotta form new neural connections from scratch
