I think I am misunderstanding you and I apologize, you just hit my hair trigger for "brain hacking" language which is a total scam.
I think we agree more than we disagree, like I said before about learning common vocab first rather than just starting with 一ニ三貝
IMO you should always learn by example, set out to write a sentence and then learn grammatically how to say it and what vocabulary is most useful. That keeps it fun and interesting. I think you should find a happy medium between the extremely technical ("memorize the joyo kanji and read tae kim's grammar guide start to finish") and the so-called immersion tactics that snake oil language teachers push ("just pay $30 a month to hear japanese people being asked random questions on the street and activate your unconscious bruh")
