i can't seem to pass the prologue video. the game freezes once the green date appears on screen.

if you try to change the guy's name, it just says seenend and a bunch of symbols, then the game freezes.

your version is too old. you're using the avg32 one, but this patch requires the updated reallive version which has completely different files.
